When Royale relocated from its iconic corner spot on Crown Street to a new space just across the road, they wanted to work with us to create their new cafe. With the move came a brand refresh—an evolution of the identity originally crafted by Nectar when Royale first opened.Our aim was to evolve the brand to match its new interiors while preserving its essence.
We incorporated subtle details of the interiors like the tiling into a custom pattern that worked as a part of the graphic language. The refreshed identity also features a new typeface that brings more character while staying true to Royale’s signature royal blue, a defining element since day one.
