Offering a unique, biodiverse climate, complete with beautiful beaches and rivers, as well as a world heritage rainforest, national parks, and spectacular waterfalls, Bellingen Shire is a magical, awe-inspiring region just moments from the Pacific Highway, NSW.

Appointing Nectar & Co to assist them with the strategic alignment and modernisation of their corporate brand identity, we worked with Bellingen Shire Council and the local community to understand their past, present, and future and identified an array of insights that helped shape a visual and verbal narrative.

Paying particular attention to the origins of their existing identity, and the significance of this to the local community, our work focused on providing a flexible but modern design system and language that could be easily adopted by multiple facets of the council, but most importantly the growing Bellingen Shire community.
