Launching a new café in a suburb of existing cafés is no mean feat, but in Royale Specialty weren't introducing a café, we were introducing a brand with a point of difference; an espresso bar devoted to serving only natural process coffee.

The natural process, also known as the dry process, is a back-to-basics approach that stems from Ethiopia whereby the fruit is left on the bean, and there’s little disruption to the coffee while it dries. The result being coffees with the most interesting flavours, notes, and characteristics.

To communicate this we worked with Royale Specialty to carefully curate every brand asset and consumer touchpoint from the menu to cups, and website to cutlery. The result - featured on Broadsheet upon opening, a growing range of coffee beans, and a secondary shared sailing experience on their very own yacht.
